MTN Cameroon donates science labs to schools
MTN Cameroon has announced the launch of its Scientific Labs programme, to promote the teaching of science subjects in secondary schools.
Five science laboratories will be inaugurated this year in schools chosen by the Ministry of Secondary Education (MINESEC) and the MTN Foundation.
It said Government High School in New Bell, is hosting the pilot laboratory. Refurbishing this facility required the construction of lab benches for practical exercises, the installation of taps and sinks and the provision of stools and cupboards. It got test tubes, pipettes, flasks, scale balances, trolleys, barometers, nanometres, microscopes, thermometers, plastic dummies, electronic scale balances, a glass smoke chamber and reactants.
