Mango to fly Boeing 737-800 display at the Rand Air Show

Multi-award winning low cost airline Mango has announced today that the airline will participate in the Rand Air Show on Sunday 23 August 2015 at Rand Airport.

The airline’s Boeing 737-800 will be piloted by Presidential Baobab Medal recipient Captain Scully Levin and co-piloted by Captain Rodney Chinn. Rand Air Show starts at 10:00am, but the gates open at 07:00am already to the public and tickets cost R 60 for adults and R 30 for children while under 6’s are no charge.

The Mango display takes place at 13:00.
 
The Rand Air Show marks Mango’s second air show display this year and the airline will also host an aviation career information kiosk at the event. “Mango continuously reaches out to communities across the country, particularly in terms aviation awareness,” says spokesperson Hein Kaiser, “our Career Days have touched the lives of more than 50 000 learners over the past 3 years with ambition to double the number by the end of next year.”

Cabin crew and other aviation professionals will be on hand to assist and share information about potential careers in the aviation industry.
