MallforAfrica (MFA), Africa’s prominent e-commerce and m-commerce platform, has announced that it has launched a new dedicated website for eBay shopping enthusiasts in Africa. The website ebayforafrica.com is now available in Nigeria and Kenya.

In this extended relationship, MallforAfrica has created a best-in-class shopping experience for customers in Africa, allowing them to access tens of millions of eBay.com listings. MallforAfrica and eBay began their alliance last year with the launch of the eBay “Powered by Mall For Africa” app in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa.

“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with eBay,” said CEO of Mall for Africa, Chris Folayan. “Thus far, they have been a tremendous partner and we look forward to continuing our association. Most importantly, we are excited to be able to offer millions of products to customers who are dedicated to shopping online.”

With over 1 billion listings worldwide, eBay’s vision for commerce is facilitated by people, powered by technology and open to everyone, which creates more economic opportunity for all around the world.  Some of eBay’s offerings include, clothing, electronics, sporting goods, toys, household goods, books, jewelry, parts & accessories.

“We’re excited for the next step in our relationship with MallforAfrica to make eBay’s expansive selection of inventory more accessible to a massive consumer audience in Africa,” said Sylvie DeWever, eBay's U.S. Exports Sr. Director.

Through ebayforafrica.com, customers in Africa will be presented with a transparent combined price that includes the price of the product, international shipping, handling, taxes and fees all rolled into one. Additionally, customers have the ability to track the status of their packages from end-to-end, as well as feel rest assured with ebayforafrica.com’s Returns & Exchanges program, which covers most transactions.
