[Angola] Govt to Execute Farming Projects in Moxico Province

The government of the eastern Moxico Province envisages the creation in 2016 of farming projects in the nine municipalities of this province, with a view to increasing the offer of agricultural products for the benefit of the population, said last Friday the provincial director of agriculture, António da Silva.

According to the source, who gave the information during a work visit of military attaché accredited in Angola, those investments will create more job vacancies.

He went on to say that the municipalities of Alto-Zambeze, Bundas, Cameia, Léua, Luacano, Luchazes and Luau will be the privileged ones, in terms of the project, since thee farms in those localities produce annually over 3.6 million eggs, 38 kilograms of goat meat and one thousand tons of vegetables.

"It is an initiative of the Angolan Executive which will also include the production of maze and creation of 200 jobs in each municipality", António da Silva explained.
