Vivo Energy Morocco appoints George Roberts new Managing Director

Vivo Energy Maroc, the company in charge of the marketing and distribution of Shell brand fuels and lubricants in Morocco and Butagaz brand Liquefied Petroleum Gas, appointed George Roberts to be the new Managing Director, effective 1, 2019. Roberts succeeds Bernard Le Goff, Acting CEO since June 1, 2019.

George Roberts is from EG Group, an independent gas station and retail company, which operates more than 5,000 service stations in Europe, North America and Australia. At EG Group, George Roberts has been Chief Operating Officer of the Fuel Operations Division for the past two years, after serving as Vice President, Procurement and Distribution.

Prior to EG Group, George Roberts spent more than 11 years with BP, holding various operational and managerial positions in Southern Africa, France, Australia and Rotterdam.

George Roberts completed executive management training at MIT in Boston, holds a Masters in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from Cranfield University, and a Masters in Management from Heriot University. Watt.
