South African Airways has added a further innovative product offering with the launch of its newly designed Fly SAA Duty Free online shop:

The service, which is available on all regional (except Victoria Falls and Maputo), as well as SAA’s long-haul flights, is already available.
The site has a dashing fresh look, a devise-responsive layout, and offers a more convenient way for customers to browse and purchase duty free products before they fly.

The overall focus for SAA is to bring customers an improved and ‘extraordinary’ online experience. Extraordinair is the duty free catalogue of South African Airways.

With this in mind, the site has been designed to assist customers to find top quality brands at duty free prices with ease, while offering exclusivity, specials and discounts too. For an enhanced Extraordinair experience, SAA has identified two areas for improvement: best prices, and convenience.

When it comes to pricing, SAA has paid special attention to competitive local prices, and has worked tactically on the best price for the customer. Customers will find products available at duty free prices and for up to 45% less than can be found elsewhere locally. Products on offer at these prices range from fragrances to watches, sunglasses, jewellery, cosmetics, cameras, handbags, wallets and even toys.
Online shopping also adds to customer convenience, with customers no longer having to rush around terminals looking for the perfect gift, or favourite brands. Finding that special gift for a loved one is now a click away at, select your product and pay.

Customers can also shop from the comfort of their own homes, with purchases delivered directly to your seat, next time you fly.
As part of the launch offering, customers can enjoy a 10% discount for orders placed in March, (for any flight booked between March and October 2015).  They will then receive the discount for their products which will also be delivered to their aircraft seat.
