South African agency Flume Digital Marketing opens European hub in Amsterdam
South African agency Flume Digital Marketing, with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, is expanding to Amsterdam – located on the Weesperstraat.
This strategic move aims to establish a central hub for European clients, representing a pivotal milestone in the agency's global growth strategy. Co-founder Ruan Oosthuizen has taken up residence in Amsterdam and leads the European team in collaboration with local expert Janique Smeets.

Flume Digital Marketing was founded in 2013 by Jacques Du Bruyn and Ruan Oosthuizen. Oosthuizen is currently responsible for the operational and financial side of the agency. Although he is still involved in the business in South Africa, his forthcoming priorities will center around the Amsterdam office. Furthermore, Janique Smeets has been appointed as Account Director to lead the agency in Europe. With ten years of experience in the agency world, she also previously led an expansion into the European market.
