[South Africa] Parity Software appoints Jono Williamson as Chief Commercial Officer

Platinum Sage Partner and business solutions specialist, Parity Software, has appointed Jono Williamson as its chief commercial officer (CCO). According to Warren Williams, managing director, Parity Software, the appointment was necessary to ensure that Parity leveraged its market leading position.

“Parity is in a new growth phase and we wanted someone to lead us into new markets and capitalise on our strengths and expansion opportunities”, says Williams.

Williamson says that Parity is a respected technology partner and is at the forefront of developing technologies: “I wanted to be part of this next exciting wave of technology evolution as well as leading the company’s expansion into some exciting and competitive new markets. We are well placed to assist clients to utilise these technologies to become more competitive and relevant in a rapidly changing business landscape.”

Parity is a qualified Partner for Sage X3, Sage X3 People and Sage CRM Williamson says that the digitisation trend is evident in the current solution sets from this leading software vendor, and Parity is strategic in its intent to grow and develop new markets utilising these solutions and skills.

In his new position, Williamson will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the sales and marketing strategies, which includes expansion plans into new markets: “Parity has been the top performing partner to Sage Enterprise in South Africa for two consecutive years and I look forward to continuing this trend.”

He says that locally, Parity sees immense potential in the construction sector, a vertical that still needs to upgrade and implement more relevant and updated business software: “A large number of companies in this sector are still using spreadsheets or running very old systems that are not integrated. There is also a need for a reliable, cost effective estimation tools, which we offer in addition to the Sage product in a locally integrated product called Lula Build,” says Williamson.
