SilverBridge South Africa partners with Zimbabwean insurer, Nyaradzo Life Assurance
The Nyaradzo Life Assurance Company has contracted SilverBridge to provide it with a cloud-based system for managing various product portfolios including life and pension policies as the Zimbabwean insurer looks to expand on its existing service offering in the market.
“Following an extensive tender process that entailed several proposals and demonstrations of the capabilities of our system, the customer decided on the SilverBridge Exergy value proposition. Nyaradzo had dedicated a team to assess the submissions and nominate the best offering based on the unique requirements of the project,” said Johan Reyneke, Business Development Executive at SilverBridge.
Nyaradzo will soon be offering life insurance products and required a system that could be used to cater for everything from customer on-boarding right through to policy administration. Part of this entails the storing and accessing of client information as well as enabling customers to pay for their policies using their preferred methods. This includes cash, debit order, or online. Clients must be able to register their claims using the new system.
“Additionally, Nyaradzo has a pension portfolio currently managed on a spreadsheet solution. However, it is not an effective method of managing client data. This would be addressed by the SilverBridge Exergy system,” said Philip Mataranyika, Group Chief Executive Officer of Nyaradzo.
Mataranyika says Nyaradzo was particularly impressed by the user-friendliness of the SilverBridge Exergy offering.
“The SilverBridge offering met most of our requirements and was by far the most engaging solution out of all the submissions. Looking at the SilverBridge client stable in Southern Africa and the level of support they could provide us in Zimbabwe really made it a perfect fit for our needs,” said Mataranyika.
For Reyneke, this partnership presents exciting new opportunities for both organisations.
