Ryanair resumes flights to Morocco

Low-cost airline Ryanair is set to resume flights in and out of Morocco. A total of 23 flights are scheduled over the next 2 weeks. They concern, for the moment, 3 Moroccan destinations:

– Marrakech which is reconnected with Paris, Brussels, Liverpool and Manchester;

– Agadir which is again directly linked to Brussels and Manchester;

– Oujda who finds a direct flight to Paris.

“We are very happy with this first step. We have worked a lot with the support of our supervisory ministry so that this could materialize in the current context. It is a first breath of fresh air and I hope that we will be able to have others, in the coming weeks, with Ryanair but also other companies, thanks to the support and the agreement of the public authorities. We are doing everything possible for this “underlines Adel el Fakir, general manager of ONMT.

Discussions are underway to expand Ryanair’s Morocco program even further from next November.

Other companies are about to resume their flights to Morocco as well. The announcements will be made in the coming days.
