[Morocco] Sound Energy confirms final approval of Matarka licence

Sound Energy, the African and European focused upstream gas company, is pleased to confirm the final approval of the Matarka licence in eastern Morocco.

Further to the announcement on July 21, 2017, the Company has now received final approval for the Matarka Licence, which has been granted with an effective date of July 27, 2017. This approval fulfills one of the conditions required to complete the Company's acquisition of the interests of Oil & Gas Investment Fund S.A.S (OGIF) in eastern Morocco.

The Company expects to receive the remaining approvals in relation to the Anoual and Tendrara licence areas (as also detailed in the announcement dated July 21, 2017) by the end of third-quarter 2017.
