Egypt, South Sudan sign MoU to build integrated crop livestock fish farming

Egypt and South Sudan signed have signed a memorandum of understanding to build an integrated farming of crop, livestock and fish.

The memorandum was signed by Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayyed el Quseir and South Sudanese Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Josephine Lagu and Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Onyoti Adigo.

The agriculture minister also approved the results of the joint agricultural committee meetings.

During the meetings, the two sides agreed on providing technical support to South Sudan in the field of agricultural and veterinary quarantine.

They also agreed on offering training grants for South Sudan as part of an intensive training program.

The agriculture minister and his accompanying delegation wrapped up on Friday their visit to South Sudan during which they discussed boosting bilateral cooperation in the agriculture domain.
