Edge-Core Connect Partner Program for Europe and Africa goes live

Fully integrated commercial, technical and marketing support offered for project development

Edge-Core Networks Corporation, a global networking solution provider offering a complete range of enterprise-level and service provider/carrier Ethernet networking equipment and services to partners around the world, has announced the launch of the Edge-Core Connect Program - an exclusive new channel program created for EdgeCore partners in Europe and Africa.

The Edge-Core Partner Program is designed to bring maximum value to our partners to enable them to grow profitably while providing maximum value, product support, and technical knowledge to their customers.

The Edge-Core team has tried to create a simple, straightforward program that aims to bring our partners investment protection via deal registration, confidence to sell through updated sales and technical training, and a demo program that gives a hands-on product experience.

The program consists of two levels: Gold Partner and Silver Partner. To achieve the corresponding tier, partners are required to meet specific training requirements according to their level of commitment to Edge-Core Networks.

“A reliable, established channel of support is critically important to the rollout and adoption of networking infrastructure across emerging markets in Africa. This program adds substantial value in entrenching Edge-Core’s services and the benefit of alliances that reinforces the existing supply channel. This is a multi-tiered program that offers a great deal to affiliate partners that are working hard to leverage off growth and capitalise off increasing interest in advanced networking infrastructure solutions,” explains Paul Luff, country manager, Edge-Core Networks.

As the program evolves, partners will also be required to achieve a minimum sales volume. In return, partners will have access to the benefits outlined below:

Commercial Support - A dedicated account manager is assigned to each partner to carefully oversee each step of project development. In addition, demo equipment discounts are available to allow partners to get familiar with products or provide demonstrations to customers. Preferential partner discounts from the SRP (list price) based on partner status, gold or silver, as well as access to leads are also part of Edge-Core’s commercial support. A deal registration program which offers special project prices and project protection for large projects and tenders is scheduled to be operational in Q2 2012.

Technical Support - A pre-sales engineer will assess the technical requirements for projects and assist with the evaluation and selection of the best technical solution based on criteria provided by the partner such as technical superiority, quality-price trade-off, etc. Depending on your region, on-site surveys are also available. Another component of technical support is an E-training tool which Edge-Core offers partners that currently features five training modules delivered online and adapted to the learner’s level of knowledge and fully targeting their individual needs.

Marketing Support – Edge-Core’s marketing team will help partners stay informed about exclusive promotions and information on products and new features through a series of regular communications. Furthermore, Edge-Core assists with the preparation and dissemination of successfully implemented case studies. Merchandising material is also available upon request, subject to availability. In addition, Connect partners are listed in the partner section of Edge-Core’s website. Various sales and marketing tools are scheduled to be available on the Edge-Core Connect partner portal in Q2 2012, as well.
