He has assisted in the origination and underwriting of both small and large transactions in over 44 countries across Africa.
Rashonda Johnson, Business Development Specialist | Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC)
Ms. Rashanda Johnson is a Business Development Specialist in the Small & Medium Enterprise Finance department at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). As Business Development Specialist, Rashanda focuses on counseling U.S. companies seeking financing, evaluating new project proposals and loan applications, and developing new business opportunities.
Lida Fitts, Regional Director, Sub-Saharan Africa | US Trade & Development Agency
Ms. Lida M. Fitts is the Regional Director for Sub-Saharan Africa for the U.S Trade and Development Agency, where she is responsible for developing the agency’s strategies and assistance activities throughout the region. In addition to her regional responsibilities, she is also the Telecommunications Sector Worldwide Team Leader for the Agency. Ms. Fitts has two decades of experience in international trade, a decade of which has been focused on expanding African trade and trading capacity.
