Javnyuy Joybert is the founder of COSDEF Group, a Cameroonian social enterprise business whose four startups staggered across education, employment, finance and ICT seek design solutions to Africa’s problems, create impact and make money.

Tell us a bit about COSDEF Group

COSDEF Group is a social enterprise founded by Javnyuy Joybert who doubles as the President with the vision to consistently design solutions to Africa's problems, create impact and make money. COSDEF Group currently comprises of over 4 operating startups which spread across the following sectors education/training, finance, employment and digital with operating headquarters in Kumbo, North West Region of Cameroon.

The Center for Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Business Management Development (CELBMD) Africa an International Skills Training/Development & Consultancy organization with the mission to make a difference across Africa by providing world class Professional Executive Skills Training, Capacity building seminars, solutions & consultancy that will advance entrepreneurial mind sets, business development, organizational management skills and community development.

For the past 5 years, CELBMD Africa offers innovative Professional Executive Training/Development skills programs and capacity building seminars through the expertise of renowned trainers, industry experts and volunteers.

Each of our customized programs is designed to incite Problem solving skills, innovative thinking and exchange of ideas. Our various Professional Executive Training/Development programs have been designed to address some of the immediate issues facing many organizations, local entrepreneurs, young professionals and business executives today.

Through Professional Executive Training/Development Programs, CELBMD Africa have Trained and Certified 8750 Executives, Leaders, Entrepreneurs, High School Graduates, University Drop outs etc in 26 African Countries and through Conferences and Capacity Building seminars, CELBMD Africa have empowered 26000+ across Africa in areas of Entrepreneurship, Transformational Leadership, Personal Development, Career Development & Effective organisation/Business Management (Development) practices

Wikajobs. Went operational in early 2017, Wikajobs.com is one of Cameroon's innovative and unique off & online employment solution for Cameroonian job seekers and employers, startups, NGOs, Project executors who need skilled employees, zealous volunteers & passionate interns.

We also provide an online platform where Cameroonian young people visit daily to have access to jobs, scholarships, conferences, seminars, trainings happening around their towns and cities included with exceptional career management services. 

CELBMD Africa Mobile Micro Credit Scheme (CAMMICS). Went operation in early 2017, CAMMICS is an innovative rural investment micro finance institution (FinTech Social Enterprise) using mobile technology to increase financial inclusiveness in rural areas among rural and semi-urban women and youths who are considered “unbanked” by formal financial institutions. We therefore are transforming lives in rural areas “villages” by delivering access to financial services by leveraging on the mobile technology. 

Our vision is to address poverty in the grassroots which will lead to economic community transformation, economic independence and economic resilience by providing standard access to microfinance services in rural and semi urban areas in Cameroon

WakyShare. Wakyshare is a full service professional digital marketing agency specializing in High touch Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Lead Generation, Content Generation, Email Marketing, Website Design, Web Development, Graphics Design, Digital Marketing Training to assist & provide simple, affordable & effective digital marketing service to startups, entrepreneurs, small businesses, corporate bodies & Individuals in Central African region to help grow and scale businesses locally & Internationally by crafting innovative user experiences and deploying creative digital marketing strategies that achieve awesome results.

When was the company founded and who are its owners?

COSDEF Group came into being in January 26and was founded by Javnyuy Joybert.

How is the company funded?

Though currently interested in investments, COSDEF Group is self-funded.

What are your company’s unique selling points?

Each startup under COSDE Group has it unique selling point. CELBMD Africa’s unique selling point is that we provide the highly needed employability skills to young Africans to make them employable and attractable to employers.

We provide local entrepreneurs the skills they need to scale their startups and boast productivity, we provide corporate and work place efficiency skills to corporate organizations that is we help companies/organization improve efficiency, productivity, enhance teams potential and develop new skills by creating and organizing custom training for all types of training needs.

For Wikajobs, we are an off & online employment solution and career service firm. We provide standard training to job seekers to make them attractable to employers, and when employers employ through us we provide training to their new employees to boast their work place efficiency skills in other that they may add value to the organization.

The unique selling point for CAMMICS is that we operate in areas where formal financial institutions consider “unbankable”. The creative digital marketing strategy we use at WakyShare makes us unique.

How has the market responded to your products?

One good thing about social entrepreneurship is that you design a solution to societal issue that people are facing and are greatly in need of a solution and when you eventually design the right solution to that problem be sure to get a great and positive response from your target market.

I anticipated the problem of marketing and I decided to design solutions that will add value to the target market and in turn I had a positive response not only in Cameroon but across Africa

Who are your clients?

With CELBMD Africa, we target unemployed youths, young professionals who are hungry to grow in the corporate world and need skills to do so, we target local entrepreneurs to provide them with entrepreneurial skills to thrive, we target corporate organisations to provide them with corporate training and consultancy services.

With Wikajobs, we target the unemployed, underemployed, employers looking for talent, organisations looking for interns, NGOs and Not-for profit looking for volunteers.

With CAMMICS we target rural women and youths who are considered “Unbankable” by formal financial institutions. With WakyShare, we target local entrepreneurs and organisations who have not leverage on digital marketing to boast their sales and increase profits.

What are the national, and international ambitions of the company?

CELBMD Africa has as ambition to have reach out to the target market in all 54 African countries by in years to come, Wikajobs has ambition to be the number career portal in Cameroon, CAMMICS has as ambition to be the McDonald of microfinance in Central African region penetrating every village and rural area with financial services, WakyShare has as ambition to empower local entrepreneurs and organizations in Central African region to leverage on digital marketing to boast sales and increase profits.

What does your company need to grow and prosper?

COSDEF Group has the right processes in place, the vision is clear and mission is top notch we need investments (financial resources) to grow, prosper and change lives.

What is the latest news from COSDEF Group?

CELBMD Africa currently operates and provide training  in 19 African countries through CELBMD Africa Country Ambassadors & CELBMD Africa Registered Training Center, we are currently receiving applications from individuals and organizations who want to work with us their countries interested persons can reach us at infos@celbmdafrica.org.

At Wikajobs we are signing more partnerships with corporate organisations, NGOs, CBOs, Local entrepreneurs to be their recruitment partner. CAMMICS currently operates in 3 villages we looking at possibility to scale to 6 villages by December 2017.
