Babafemi Awofala is a professional with experience in advising companies and governments on private investments in energy, real estate and infrastructure, including structuring and executing mergers and acquisitions. Could you introduce your company?

Brickstone Partners is a research based Project Finance Advisory, Development and Asset Management firm. We aid sponsors of large scale asset backed projects in six major sectors, including Agriculture & Heavy-Industries, Commercial Real Estate, Energy & Natural Resources, Housing Development, Transport Infrastructure and Special Situation Advisory. We carry out our advisory processes with a creative approach that differs from the traditional consulting firm.

How is Brickstone Partners funded and where is it located?

We are funded by a group of investors and shareholder but mainly owned by Seedworks Limited, an early statge venture investment firm. Birckstone Partners is located in Lagos, Nigeria.

What is your one unique selling point?

We are capable of originating, structuring, negotiating and executing transactions which help our clients – corporations, entrepreneurs, financial sponsors and business owners – achieve their financial and strategic goals based on the feasibility studies developed.

What are the ambitions of Brickstone Partners?

Our aim is to be Africa’s most admired and successful benchmark in executing capabilities for real estate, infrastructure and energy project. We are driven by our passion, curiosity and desire to understand and anticipate our customers’ changing needs. We are working to grow our practice into Ghana and Kenya in 2018.

What is the latest news from Brickstone Partners?

Brickstone has developed a guide book on business plan development. No matter what stage your project is at, you’re probably going to need some investment for expansion. A number of these issues are around the pitch and business plan being developed. The book helps review and address these business plan issues for smoother sailing when trying to secure funding from an investor.
