About you

With a passion for development, you'll go a long way with us. What else do we want from you?

• An IT-related HBO/WO diploma;
• 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Strong English writing and communication skills.

 

Knowledge of - or interest in - the following technologies:

• Java;
• PHP;
• SQL and NoSQL databases;
• REST API’s (preferably in Spring);
• Object-oriented programming;
• GIT;
• Agile and scrum.

 

Your career with Incentro 

As a back-end developer at our Kenyan office, you’ll develop solutions for our Incentro products. You have the ability to write reusable code and have a proper understanding of common design and software architectural patterns. This is no place for traditional software, oh no. We’ll give you the space to let your creativity run free. So that you provide cutting-edge tech and the customer always has its mind blown by the end product.

But that’s not all: we also collaborate on projects with our Dutch and Spanish colleagues. Together we work towards the best possible outcomes for your customers and clients. In order to do so, we need your entrepreneurial spirit to assist in growing our office in Nairobi, and ability to think out of the box.

What we offfer you

First, we offer a competitive salary of 80.00 - 150.000 KES (depending on expertise). We are always open to suggestions, based on your experience and skills. So, if you have anything in mind, please let us know.
