Hivestack signs strategic partnership with PHD Media for DOOH in South Africa

Ad-tech company Hivestack announced a partnership with media and marketing communications agency PHD Media. This partnership enables PHD to integrate programmatic DOOH into the omnichannel strategies of their customers' brands.

PepsiCo 

The partnership kicked off with a programmatic activation for food and beverage brand PepsiCo. Using the Hivestack DSP, PHD was able to successfully reach the desired audience through the Open Exchange, a media first for PepsiCo and an activation approach leading the way in digital OOH delivery. The purchase was handled through a number of South African OOH media owners, including Tractor Outdoor, Provantage Media Group, JB Media and Yooh Media, Insight Outdoor, Primedia Outdoor and Epic Outdoor.

The announcement follows the launch of Hivestack's programmatic DOOH marketplace in South Africa in July 2022 . South Africa is one of the fastest growing regions for programmatic DOOH and has seen rapid development in recent years. Advertising spend is expected to double in the coming year.
