RUBiS Energy launched ULTRA TEC advanced fuel technology
RUBiS Energy Rwanda has launched UltraTec advanced fuel technology, an additivized fuel that contains high-performance additives that increase power and fuel economy at no extra cost.
Founded in 1990, Rubis is an independent French Operator specializing in the three business areas.
These include distribution of petroleum products (service station networks, commercial fuel oil, aviation fuel, LPG, bitumen…), with operations in Europe, the Caribbean and Africa through the subsidiary Rubis Energy.
In 2019, the company acquired the assets owned and operated by Kenol Kobil.
The launched ULTRA TEC Advanced Fuel Technology is designed to improve the vehicle’s engine cleanliness, which in return, improves fuel economy and provides superior engine, better vehicle acceleration, optimum engine performance and reduces vehicle emissions.
According to Jean-Christian Bergeron, the CEO of Rubis in East Africa, Rubis Energy Rwanda is the first Oil Marketing Company (OMC) to introduce this kind of technology in Rwanda.
“We believe there are a lot of opportunities in Rwanda. Our target is to become the preferred brand for all the Rwandans. That is why we bring better and quality fuel to our customers. The additivized fuel will help customers consume less and drive more kilometers with a cleaner engine. A cleaner engine should also mean spending less on maintenance in the long term.” he said.
The company has over 40 service-stations across the country. Clients can get ULTRA TEC in both diesel and petrol at any Kobil and Rubis service stations countrywide.
Rubis Energy Rwanda also distributes and retails tyres, auto-parts and accessories and offers an extensive range of repair and services with XpressFit.
