PGS secured MultiClient Project in West Africa

PGS has secured solid industry pre-funding for a MultiClient survey* in West Africa. The Ramform Atlas is scheduled to mobilize for the survey late October and acquisition is expected to complete early January.

“This is the first MultiClient project in West Africa since early 2021 as we experience increasing demand for high-fidelity MultiClient data from our clients,” says President & CEO in PGS, Rune Olav Pedersen.

This contract is the second awarded to PGS in the West African region in three months. In June, the company was awarded a contract by an undisclosed multinational to carry out a "high quality" 4-D seismic survey covering an area located in territorial water.

PGS ASA and its subsidiaries (“PGS” or “the Company”) is a fully integrated marine geophysical company that provides a broad range of seismic and reservoir services, including data acquisition, imaging, interpretation, and field evaluation. Our services are provided to the oil and gas industry, as well as to the broader and emerging new energy industries, including carbon storage and offshore wind. The Company operates on a worldwide basis with headquarters in Oslo, Norway and the PGS share is listed on the Oslo stock exchange (OSE: PGS).
