UltiSales makes inroads into Mauritius

UltiSales Retail Software has announced that it has landed “a number” of deals in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry in Mauritius, and is in “advanced discussions” with a number of supermarket chains.

This was confirmed by Stephen Mallaby, UltiSales MD, who said a growing number of companies are looking to do business in the fast-growing Mauritian economy.

UltiSales, with more than 3000 installed outlets in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Lesotho, recently entered the Mauritian retail point of sale (POS) market with the appointment of channel partner, EMP Distribution.

“Although the Mauritian market is a small one, it is certainly proving to be increasingly popular. We expect to land a number of additional deals during the course of this year in the FMCG market space, and are also hoping to secure a large supermarket chain as a key customer there,” said Mallaby.
