[Tanzania] Aotea Global Services announces start of US operations

Aotea Global Services that has predominantly been in East Africa has announced it is expanding its operations into the US.  The company provides clients with a unique value proposition: High quality, low-priced IT resources who work only for them and become an offshore extension of their in-house staff.

The typical result is a dramatic reduction in costs while increasing flexibility and maintaining high quality.

AGS's technical professionals, management team, and facilities are located primarily in Tanzania in East Africa with sales offices around the globe.

"Today's global talent pool is very fluid and mobile, and we provide above-average pay for our technical people in Tanzania where local work opportunities are relatively scarce, and offer their skills and expertise to Western markets where labor is often tight and much higher priced," said Richard Burke, AGS founder and CEO.

Leading the launch of AGS in the US is Frank Howard, Washington, DC-based businessman and former candidate for Congress.  "We are pleased to have Frank join our team as a partner in the firm, managing our expansion into North America and bringing exceptional value to clients there," said Burke.

Originally founded in New Zealand, AGS operates in Australasia, Europe, Africa, and North America and is a pioneer in providing high-quality offshore IT resources at reasonable rates who work only for one client, thereby efficiently extending the client's enterprise.
