South Sudan Compensation Surveys Launched

Birches Group LLC, a leading global provider of salary surveys for developing countries, has announced the launch of two surveys in Africa's newest country, South Sudan.  The firm will be conducting a multi-sector survey of leading employers from all business sectors.  In addition, the NGO Local Pay survey, sponsored by Birches, InsideNGO and People In Aid, will focus on international NGOs and development organizations operating in South Sudan.  Both surveys are underway now 

The surveys are comprehensive, and include information about base salary, cash allowances, in-kind benefits and incentives.  Also, information about customary practices for other benefits, such as pensions, health care and leave are included in the survey.  Survey participation is easy, as all information is gathered using a structured interview process with employers.  The surveys will provide an initial benchmark that will be extremely useful as more employers set-up operations in South Sudan.
