Schneider Electric unveils vendor partner programme

APC by Schneider Electric, an integrated power and cooling services company, has launched its Channel Partner Programme (CPP), aimed at driving business growth and profitability.

The programme is designed to help build business relationships with new and existing partners, and the CPP is focused on five critical success factors -- channel profiling, alignment with business opportunities, empowerment, enablement and profit.

Each success factor has clearly defined processes which will allow partners to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s world-class, energy-efficient solutions and leverage them to be more customer-focused in their business approach.

Mr. Denis Kouakou, the company’s West Africa Regional Director at the event, said: “We are focused on empowering our channel partners to find new, sizeable market opportunities by offering innovative solutions that are easy to sell.

“We believe that a well-trained, knowledgeable partner will be capable of delivering better value to the customer. Hence, the core objective of this programme is to enable the partners differentiate themselves in the marketplace.”

Mr. Kouakou advised prospective channel partners to take full advantage of the programme to derive maximum benefit and growth of their businesses.

He added: “APC by Schneider Electric remains committed to offering partners quality, high-impact, and proven sales and marketing tools to help grow their business.”

Mr. Kofoworola Ayodele, APC by Schneider Electric’s Channel Sales Manager, explaining the benefits of being a channel partner said that the CPP provides financial differentiation to partners, including upfront preferred pricing, an opportunity registration programme, back-end incentives and other opportunities to ensure that the partner relationship is profitable to the vendors.

“Our channel partners are a significant part of our business. They figure prominently in our planning and strategy process. This is the basis for our desire to reward those who identify with the programme to enable them increase their profitability and create demand for products and services from APC by Schneider Electric,” Mr. Ayodele explained.

As part of the programme, APC by Schneider Electric has also developed a tiered certification programme that provides partners with a platform to develop sales and engineering competencies in power cooling, security and environmental management.

The programmes offers clear and differentiated paths, allowing channel partners to leverage pricing and promotional benefits, gain full access to APC’s network of qualified and dedicated solutions engineers.

As a global specialist in energy management with operations in more than 1000 countries, Schneider Electric offers integrated solutions across multiple market segments, including leadership positions in Utilities & Infrastructures, Industries & Machine Manufacturers, Non-residential Buildings, Data Centres & Networks, and in Residential.

Focused on making energy safe, reliable, efficient, productive and green, the Group’s 130,000-plus employees achieved sales of 22.4 billion euro in 2011, through an active commitment to help individuals and organisations make the most of their energy.
