Samsung has outlined its ambition to grow its African presence to a USD10 billion business by 2015.

Samsung Electronics is showcasing its product range for the African market at the 2012 Samsung Africa Forum, in Cape Town, South Africa.

With its philosophy, “Built for Africa - Inspire the Future”, the company says it is on track to meet its aggressive African growth objectives.

Its focus on the continent would continue to be research and development, CSR initiatives and local partnerships, he said.

He highlighted initiatives such as the Samsung Engineering Academies for African students, as well as efforts to grow the capacity of its distribution channel.
