Rui Silva appointed Managing Director of Subaru Southern Africa
Having joined Subaru Southern Africa in 1994 as an accountant, 2 years after the fire was established in South Africa, Mr. Silva har haft en langvarig karriere samt bred erfaring indenfor firmaet fra Finans og Salg, til sin sidste stilling som Chief Operations Officer.
With Subaru Southern Africa having just launched the all-new Subaru Impreza and XV model range, together with the debut of its award-winning driver assist technology called EyeSight, Mr. Silva says, "Subaru Southern Africa is at a pivotal point, with outstanding new product & technology released, and high levels of customer satisfaction and passion for the brand. Mr. Silva officially took the helm 1 July 2017 from Kazunori Suzuki who has headed up Subaru Southern Africa since 2013. He remains at the company until the end of the financial year and thereafter returns to the company's Tokyo-based shareholder Toyota Tsusho Corporation to assume a new Assignment.
