Lafarge Africa appoints El Dokani as MD/CEO
Lafarge Africa has appointed Mr Khaled Abdelaziz El Dokani as its group managing director/cheif executive officer.
The appointment was as a sequel to the retirement of Mr Michel Puchercos as group managing/chief executive officer, effective January 17, 2020.
A statement by the company said the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) had been notified of the appointment.
El Dokani obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Alexandria University, Egypt.
Prior to taking over the position, he was country chief executive officer of Iraq between 2018 and 2019; Qatar, 2016 and 2018; Saudi Arabia, 2013 and 2016; vice-president for Business Development and Strategy North America, 2010 and 2013 and CFO in Lafarge Algeria, 2004 and 2010.
