KenTrade eases documentation process for traders, business people in Kenya
Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade) a trade facilitation agency, has introduced optional premium and support services aimed at easing trade processes for traders and offering greater convenience and ease. The premium and support services are targeted at people who prefer the convenience of having their documents processed for them. The new services will enable the traders to quickly, conveniently and easily get help to process their documents faster.
KenTrade has also provided ways for traders and business people to equip themselves with the necessary skills to easily navigate the Kenya TradeNet System. With Covid-19 cases on the rise, KenTrade is offering online training courses or in person training at clients’ premises for added convenience.
The Kenya TradeNet System is an initiative of the Kenya Vision 2030 to facilitate trade, customs clearance, competitiveness and to reduce the cost of trade. The system aims to provide the trading community and all stakeholders with a single access point for all external trade related services and to meet legal requirements.
