Foluso Phillips to address Ghana Economic Forum

One of Nigeria’s leading economists and management consultants, Foluso Phillips, will speak at Ghana Economic Forum scheduled for May 3, 2012 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.


The Ghana Economic Forum will assemble key industry chieftains, senior- level decision-makers in public & private sector organisations in the country and development partners to engage in discussions centred on the how Ghana can sustain the macroeconomic gains made in recent times.



Thematic areas to be covered will include what to do to unlock Ghana’s human capital in education, skills development, job-creation and poverty reduction; rethinking the country’s systems for improved productivity at all levels as well as utilising technology to drive intermediary businesses in both public and private sector organisations amongst others.


Foluso Phillips is the Executive Chairman and founder of the Phillips Consulting Group, a firm of business and management consultants with offices in Nigeria, South Africa, United Kingdom and Kenya. He is the current Chairman of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group.


A qualified Industrial Economist, Chartered Management Accountant (U.K) and Chartered Accountant (Nigeria), Mr. Foluso will bring to bear his wealth of knowledge and vast experience on economic and leadership development in Africa to bear at the Ghana Economic Forum, leading discussions on how Ghana can chart the path for its sustainable economic development by learning from other developed countries.


He will also share with the delegates how Ghana can learn both success and failure lessons from Nigeria, particularly in the areas of energy, oil and gas to name just a few.
