FCMB Partners Cornerstone Insurance To Ease Travel Process

First City Monument Bank Plc (FCMB) and Cornerstone Insurance Plc are set to give the Nigerian public added travel benefits via a low-priced (promotional offer) travel and health insurance policy.

The policy which is currently available from Cornerstone Insurance and specially discounted for FCMB cardholders apart from fulfilling visa requirement to some countries also covers medical expenses incurred abroad, transportation in case of accident and compensation for loss of luggage amongst others.

To enjoy the service, the FCMB cardholder simply needs to walk into any branch of Cornerstone Insurance Plc, present a FCMB Debit Card (Verve), Credit or Prefunded Card (MasterCard), and a policy purchase is initiated. On purchase, the customer will enjoy substantial savings on the face value of the policy purchased.

Shiba Ghosh, FCMB’s Group Head, Assets confirmed that plans are underway to make the service available in all branches of the bank and at its Contact Centre. This he said was in line with the bank’s policy of always going the extra mile for their customers.

The MD of Retail Services in Cornerstone Insurance, Mr Bayo Adeyeye, hinted on additional convenience customers will get from the service as there are plans to deliver purchased policies to the email addresses of policy buyers; the policy can then be simply printed in the comfort of their homes and offices for onward presentation at the embassy. Adeyeye went on to state that the initiative is part of Cornerstone’s desire to offer the Nigerian public innovative and customer friendly insurance solutions that surpasses their expectations.
