EgyptAir to launch two new routes to Rwanda and Cameroon

Minister of Civil Aviation, Younis al-Masry, revealed that the ministry and its subsidiaries are planning to strengthen the cooperation with African countries in the near future. In the same context, EgyptAir will launch two new routes in the African continent as of the end of January 2019. The new routes are to Kigali, Rwanda and Douala, Cameroon.

This comes within the framework of the efforts to promote the continent's air transport industry by establishing routes to meet the future challenges.

The minister added during an inspection tour around Cairo International Airport that the ministry welcomes the cooperation and exchange of experiences with African countries to develop a vision for the future of the civil aviation industry, enhance the economic yields of African countries and keep up with the growth in investment, shipping and tourism in the region.

The ministry is seeking to develop cooperation with African countries, develop a plan to improve and maintain the level of the aviation industry in the continent, modernize airports infrastructure, develop air navigation systems and facilitate the issuance of visas among African countries.
