Salcit and Smart Africa signed an MoU to foster digital health solutions in Africa

Salcit and The Smart Africa Alliance (SA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote the delivery of digital health solutions in the respiratory space and improve lives of the citizens of Africa.

Salcit and Smart Africa join forces to collaborate with member states and encourage the use of digital health solutions especially for the respiratory health area where Salcit will be responsible for the deployment of digital health solutions in the participating member states. Smart Africa actively encourages and supports private initiatives and investments in the technology and communications sectors via the alliance platform.  

Salcit aims to leverage technology to provide innovative solutions and improve healthcare delivery in Africa. This partnership represents a crucial step towards bridging the digital divide in the heath sector on the continent and promoting accessible and affordable respiratory healthcare for all. 

Commenting on this strategic MOU, Mr Narendra Soorabathula, President – Africa, Salcit Technologies said: “Swaasa is singularly focussed on bringing access to world-class respiratory healthcare to all the hard-to-reach places in a resource frugal and ultra-scalable manner.
