Effective internal communication strengthens employee communication and engagement.  More than ever before, effective internal communication breeds internal cohesiveness and commitment to achievement of corporate goals.

Production of useful content through digital communication kits has become mandatory for every organization. This is highly essential today for global organization with presence in different regions. While we must acknowledge  internal communication in a global organization can be challenging, the use of global digital platforms and tools can reduce the complication and risks if properly done.

In cases where departments are large and staff are scattered across cities or nations, live streaming of meeting through several available platforms are now possible. These also allow immediate feedback across channels.

Short articles with bullet points: short soft articles with bullet points through email marketing or other forms of digital communication may also help an internal communication professional to deliver swift messages internally.

Internal corporate blog: This can be used to promote transparency, immediate feedback on corporate policy and changes. When properly used, it can serve as a platform for care, accountability and responsibility.

In conclusion, most researches had shown that nothing is compared with physical meetings or contacts, but as we know top executives are pressed of time and being everywhere at the same time may not be visible even where the budget is surplus, it is essential HR and Internal Communication professionals annex the opportunities offered by Social/digital media to enhance their job performance as well as excellent service delivery. We do know some will need a level of equipment to excel in this; the first step in finding solution to a problem is acknowledgement.
