Egypt's agricultural exports hit $1.6 billion in eight months
Egypt's exports of crops hit 1.67 billion dollars in eight months, Jan-Aug 2020, according to the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Russia topped the importing countries with $264 million, followed by Saudi Arabia with $170 million, and the Netherlands ranked third with $160 million, the ministry added in a statement.
Fruits worth $755 million were exported, while potato exports hit $222 million.
Citrus exports amounted to $150 million, while exports of garlic and onions reached about $135 million.
