​Johannesburg Stock Exchange receives merit recognition in EY’s Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards

The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) is pleased to announce that it has been recognised as a recipient of a merit award in the Ernst & Young Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards 2015.

 

As a new category for this year’s awards, the JSE was acknowledged for “quality of governance reporting”. CEO of the JSE, Nicky Newton-King comments: “We are pleased with this acknowledgement as it reinforces our continuous efforts to reinforce the principles of good governance in the best interests of the JSE and all its stakeholders.” 

 

Now in its fourth year running, the EY Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards follows a rigorous survey of the integrated reports of SA’s top 100 JSE-listed companies. The survey provides an extensive overview of the current standard of integrated reporting in South Africa and encourages improvement and excellence in the quality of integrated reporting.
