Vivo Energy Kenya and Chandaria Industries Limited sponsor the Quentin Mitchell Rally Team

Vivo Energy Kenya, the company that distributes and markets Shell branded fuels and lubricants in Kenya and Chandaria Industries Limited the largest Tissue and Hygiene products manufacturer in Kenya, East & Central Africa; have today announced a sponsorship package for the Quentin Mitchell Rallying team.

This is a one year sponsorship that will be carried under Shell V-Power, Shell Helix Ultra Lubricant and Velvex brands and will assist Quentin Mitchell as he starts a five year program to compete at the top level in the World Rally Championship.

The Safari Rally has always been hailed as one of the toughest tests of man and machine in the world since its inception in 1953 where it was started by Eric Cecil to celebrate the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Today, the three day event still boasts some of the toughest and longest sections in modern-day rallying which test not only the strength and reliability of the machines, but also the physical and mental limits of the drivers - not to mention their resilience and skill.
