Uber to Launch Chopper Services in Nairobi and Mombasa
Cab-hailing app Uber has partnered with Corporate Helicopters to tease a chopper hailing service offered by Uber.
Just as they did when they first launched Uber cabs in Kenya, UberChopper is working with media and entertainment personalities to hype up the chopper service.
Six winners will be chosen from a social media competition to fly alongside Larry Madowo, Huddah Munroe or Eric Omondi on 4th September. Winners from Mombasa will fly with Chef Alim DJ Lenium or Miss Global Kenya, Tima Keilah.
Riders in Nairobi will go on a tour between Nairobi and the Rift Valley while Mombasa winners will explore the expansive coastline.
UberChopper has used the same strategy to launch in several cities from last year including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Shanghai and Cape Town.
