Samsung runs campaign for Orange Africa Cup of Nations

Samsung has announced the 'I See Your Dreams' campaign  during the Orange Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) men's football tournament 2015, which will be held from 17 January to 08 February in Equatorial Guinea. Samsung has been an official sponsor of the competition since 2008.

Samsung has partnered with soccer heroes such as Kennedy Mweene from Zambia and Andre Ayew from Ghana. The campaign will create excitement through engagement with football fans around Africa with a focus on Zambia and Ghana, whose teams have qualified for the tournament.

Samsung will implement a programme called 'Dream Maker' CSR initiatives, which will kick off with 'School Donation' campaign from 15-16 January at selected schools in Zambia and Ghana. Samsung will be donating football training equipment and gear to the schools. The 'Dream Maker' campaign will end with a 'Dream Camp' where young people will share their experiences and be motivated to continue dreaming and never give up. The campaign will feature retail activations at selected brand stores, where customers will have the opportunity to meet their local soccer heroes and supporting their national team at the Orange AFCON 2015.
