RwandAir launches direct flights from Accra to Lagos
RwandAir, the national carrier of the Republic of Rwanda, has recently launched direct flights from Accra to Lagos as part of the Airline’s route expansion project in 2017.
Lagos in Nigeria, being the first phase of the project, will be followed by new routes like Harare, Zimbabwe from April 1 and Mumbai, India from April 3 respectively.
The flights to Lagos will fly by the existing Accra Kigali route and operated daily with the new fleet including the newly acquired Airbus 300-200 triple class configuration with on board Wifi and mobile access.
RwandAir will soon launch another destination to its project including its first long haul flights to Gatwick, London and New York in May, this year.
It is the fastest growing airlines on the African Continent operating a growing fleet of 11 aircrafts while still covering 19 destinations including Kigali, Johannesburg, Dubai, Nairobi and Dar-Es-Salaam.
