Rlg Nigeria inducted into Nigeria Computer Society

Rlg Communications Nigeria, a subsidiary of Rlg Communications Group has been inducted into the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) as a Corporate Member. 

The Pan African mobile phone manufacturing giant received its certificate last Friday with Membership Number 09420, valid until July 2017. 

The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) is the umbrella organization of all Information Technology Professionals, Interest Groups and Stakeholders in Nigeria. 

"This is to certify that RLG Communication Nigeria Limited being duly qualified has been admitted as Corporate of the Society and is entitled to all rights, benefits and privileges accorded by the constitution and Bye-Laws,” the certificate jointly signed by the NCS General Secretary and President, Prof. Ganiyu Adesola Aderounmu read. 

The certificate is the national platform for the advancement of Information Technology Science and Practice in Nigeria. 

Commenting on the induction, the Head of Technical and Training of  Rlg Nigeria, Elvis Osagiede said the membership alignment is as a result of Rlg’s desire to standardize their operations and to also align with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders in the ICT industry. 

He noted that Rlg has now been set apart from other IT practitioners and duly recognized for all their works 

The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) was formed in 1978 as Computer Association of Nigeria (COAN) and transformed into NCS in 2002 as a result of harmonization with other stakeholder and interest groups. 

The Society’s mission is the Advancement of Information Technology Science and Practice;  and their deployments as solutions and business enablers to all industry practices of human endeavour.
