Proflight Zambia and Zoona Sign Payment Agreement
Paying for air tickets just got easier thanks to a new agreement unveiled this week between Proflight Zambia and mobile money transfer company, Zoona.
Travellers can book their Proflight tickets with the airline online, over the phone, by email or at a Proflight office. Payment can then be made at any one of Zoona’s 500 outlets countrywide.
“It doesn’t get any easier to fly with Proflight,” said Proflight Director of Government and Industry Affairs Captain Philip Lemba. “Paying for a seat on the plane is now as simple as popping to the market to buy some vegetables.”
Passengers will be given a reference number when they book and a time limit in which to pay. This reference number is then quoted when making payment at their nearest Zoona outlet.

Zoona provides travellers with an SMS confirming their payment and the ticket will automatically be emailed to the passenger with all their flight information to any one of Proflight’s destinations: Lusaka, Ndola, Livingstone, Mfuwe, Ndola, Solwezi, Kasama, Lubumbashi or Lilongwe.
