Ophir plans five more Tanzania wells in 2012
Africa-focused oil and gas firm Ophir Energy in its 2012 objectives aims to drill five more exploration wells off the coast of Tanzania, executive deputy chairman and founder Alan Stein told an African oil and gas conference in Cape Town on Thursday.
The exploration firm, which has made significant gas discoveries off Tanzania with partner BG Group , raised $375 million in fund exploration drilling with a London IPO in July.
