Online Shopping Firm Kaymu Wins Top Africa Award

KAYMU has been nominated as one of eight Africa Internet Group (AIG) companies at the Africa CEO Forum Awards, in recognition of firms that have ambitious objectives and contribute to growth in Africa.

According to a statement, Kaymu, the online shopping platform has been recognised for getting the organisation its first nomination for International Corporation of the year at The Africa CEO Forum Awards, organised under the African Development Bank (AfDB) and GroupeJeuneAfrique.

The nominees are chosen for their commitment and achievements in promoting the African private sector and developing intra-African trade.

Mr Erfaan Mojgani, Kaymu Tanzania's Country Manager commented, "Kaymu Tanzania is very proud to be part of AIG, a company that has gained such recognition for its successes within such a short time," he said.

The Co-CEO Africa Internet Group, Sacha Poignonne said that they are honoured to be nominated only two years after the launch of AIG.
