[Nigeria] Erin Energy announces arrival of rig to Oyo Field expected to double its production

The highly efficient sixth generation drilling rig Pacific Bora meant to carry operation at the Oyo field offshore Nigeria has arrived in the area according to Erin Energy Corporation.

The oil and gas exploration and production company plans to use Pacific Borato drill the Oyo-9 well (Oyo-9) on the Oyo field in deepwater offshore Nigeria. Det forventes å påbegynne boring eller Oyo-9 i ca. 10 dager og å legge til en ekstra 6000 til 7000 fat per dag.

The Pacific Bora is a highly efficient sixth generation double-hulled drillship, which the company has the option to drill up to two additional wells.
