[Nigeria] CareerNaija announces results of 2016 job seeker survey
CareerNaija has announced the result of its Job Seeker Survey 2016. As a leading job site in Nigeria, we are concerned about the rate of unemployment in the country which currently stands at over 11.2million.
That is one of the reasons why we launched our site in the first place, to bridge the gap between what job seekers are looking for and what employers are seeking for and that is why we decided to conduct this annual survey.
According to Emmanuel Adegboye, CareerNaija community manager, the result of the survey will shock you. While most recruiters use platforms like LinkedIn to source for talent, most of the job seekers survey prefers to use Facebook.
In the same survey, most candidates are unimpressed with recruiter’s attitude during the job search process. We strongly believe that the job search journey is already stressful enough and employers and recruiters should not make this process more stressful by continuing to give more feedback to candidates during this process.
These are some of the astonishing information and insights we got when we looked the result of the survey. You can get the full survey results here.
