Globacom gets glowing testimonials from subscribers
Customers of Glo internet services have eulogized the telecoms service provider for its quality of service and unique data plans.
Reacting to recent industry reports which affirmed Glo as the network of choice for new internet subscribers, the respondents mentioned the speed and reliability of connectivity as well as the unmatched value offerings available on the network’s data plans as major attractions to Glo.
Funke Ishola, a Lagos-based banker, disclosed that her experience on the Glo network has been pleasurable. “Glo internet service has been awesome. I only switched to Globacom about a year ago because the other network I was using was becoming a burden. I am a heavy user and it was becoming too expensive and I was not enjoying good service. But the experience with Glo is different,” she said.
While adding that another thing she enjoys is the hotspot connection, Isola added, “I can easily connect to my laptop via the hotspot. The world is now global and people rely on the internet to keep abreast of developments. Being a journalist, I rely heavily on the internet to do my job. Glo has given me the leverage I need to excel in my job. Glo has very friendly and affordable data packs and the connectivity is superb. I send my stories with ease from anywhere, unlike my colleagues who have to wait to get to the office because of the unreliability of the network they are using.”
Shedding light on why she joined the Globacom data platform only last year, she enthused, “I can say I was blind, now I can see. I have tasted the other networks, now I know the difference.”
A Lagos-based engineer, Alhaji Opeyemi Aminu commended Glo data services, saying, “I ported from another network to Glo a few months ago because of my dissatisfaction with my previous service provider. I am now enjoying my internet service with Glo. The speed is excellent and the connectivity is steady and reliable.”
Gbenga Oyegoke, another subscriber who is a staff of a commercial bank branch at the Shoprite Mall, Lekki, said, “Really, Glo has been good. The data packages are quite user-friendly and the data rates are equally affordable. I ported to Glo from another network about three months ago, and I can say I have been enjoying the data services. I enjoy the uninterrupted connectivity even when I am on the road.”
Ene Sharon, a customer resident at the Bompai region of Kano noted that “Glo data is quite competitive. I also enjoy the quality of the network especially at nights when I have time to do my downloads and use the social media.”
Another Kano-based executive, Yohanna Yakubu, said he was excited to be a Glo data subscriber because the network’s data packs are quite innovative and affordable, while Esther Balogun, a business tycoon, who also resides in the Kano Municipal area said : “I use the other three networks and I must say I am very pleased with the Glo tariff plans. Glo is the best because I get more gigabytes for less money.”
From the south-south region of the country, the responses were the same as Samson Pepple, a school principal in Onne, Rivers State, declared, “I enjoyed the Glo tariff more, compared to competition,” as he encouraged his staff to use Glo data packs because they are “the best when it comes to data offerings.”
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Operations), Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Deima Abibo, expressed delight about the network while disclosing that he was a heavy user of Glo data offerings. He enjoined Glo to continue to deliver more data options and offerings in order to continue leading competition in the country.
