[Ghana] MTN, Intarget launch mobile advertiser

MTN Ghana in partnership with InTarget has launched the MTN Mobile Advertiser Service in Accra.The MTN Mobile Advertiser Service is a platform that enables advertisers to reach their potential targets via a mobile device.

With the service, customers would receive information on options for goods and services in an efficient manner. It also affords suppliers a number of avenues to reach their preferred audience in a cost-effective manner.

In her welcome address, the Corporate Services Executive of MTN, Cynthia Lumor, made known at the launch that “MTNs partnership with InTarget further demonstrates MTN’s commitment to leading the delivery of a bold new digital world to our customers by providing cutting edge solutions that brighten the lives of our customers”.

The Chief Executive Officer of Intargret Africa, Lazarus Muchenje gave insights into how his company is able to provide the needed support for suppliers to make the best out of the service.

The MTN Mobile Advertiser’s Service offers several options to advertisers such as; Account Recharge Notification, End of Call Notification, Voice Tags and Please Call Me Back options.

The MTN Mobile Advertiser service promises to be a great boost to the advertising industry as it gives meaning to targeted advertising. This allows for significant return on investment as advertisers are able to reach their core target directly.

Attesting to the efficacy of the MTN Mobile Advertising Service, Cederic Nartey-Ologo, Marketing Manager of Samara Group Of Companies, said after taking the decision to use MTN Advertiser Service on trial for a week, he was overwhelmed by the response from clients.

He said the response and demand for products was so much that he run short of supplies.

Marketing Manager of Hisense Ghana, Yram Seinti also confirmed the high results the MTN Mobile Advertiser Service yields, saying she was highly impressed with the response received from customers in a very short time.

The increasing use of mobile devices continues to open new business possibilities for advertisers. Mobile Advertising creates advertisements that are designed specifically for mobile users.

The MTN Advertiser Service would permit advertisers to reach a very large target market based on demographics as identified by the advertiser.
