Arik Air introduces new payment platform in Accra, Ghana

Arik Air, West and Central Africa’s largest airline, has introduced new payment platform for customers in Accra, Ghana. This is aimed at simplifying the process of ticket payment.

The new platform known as Paga is now available in two banks, GT Bank and Standard Chartered Bank while Access Bank and Barclays Bank will join later.

Intending passengers are required to book their tickets on the Arik Air Internet Booking Engine (IBE) and then make payment at any branch of GT Bank or Standard Chartered Bank within 12 hours.

After payment, an electronic copy of the E ticket and Email confirmation is sent to the passengers’ email address. Passengers can also visit the Arik Air ticketing Office at Kotoka International Airport Accra or City Ticketing Office for a hard copy of the ticket.

This new payment option is only available for passengers booking a flight 48 hours before departure date.
